Transferring a website from one hosting company to another can sometimes be quite a difficult task. For this purpose, we have prepared a special import script that will help you do this step quickly and easily.
We have developed an import script from cPanel and PLESK based hosting providers that downloads a current backup of your website, including all files, databases, emails, cron jobs and more. The process is fully automated and takes a few minutes depending on the size of your website.
Just log in to the Control Panel, select Websites -> Import from the menu and follow the transfer instructions.
Log in to your current provider's cPanel.
In the Files tab, click the Backups icon.
Under Full Backup, select Download entire account backup.
Under Generate Full Backup, select Home Directory as the Backup Destination and click Generate Backup.
Once complete, under Available Backups, click the link to download the backup.
Log in to your Pamstera control panel.
From the menu, select Websites -> Import
In the Upload Website Backup step, select the newly generated file and select Next Step.
Wait patiently until the import is complete.
If you are experiencing difficulties or would like an experienced technical support person to perform the transfer of your website, please use the transfer request form.
Log in to Plesk at your current provider.
Go to Websites & Domains, then Backup & Restore, and click on the backup you want to download.
Click Download.
Check ''Use password protection'' and click OK.
The backup will be downloaded to your browser.
Log in to your Pamstera control panel.
From the menu, select Websites -> Import
In the Upload Website Backup step, select the newly generated file and select Next Step.
Wait patiently until the import is complete.
